Questions? We have answers!!

Tallulah Learning Academy is a platform designed for professional teachers who want to focus on what they do best: teaching! We provide you with the tools to manage your schedule, create your own courses, and connect with a global audience of dedicated learners. You can also earn premium compensation with competitive rates based on experience. Our supportive admin team handles the technical details, allowing you to build your reputation and grow your business seamlessly.
As a teacher, you can contribute to the academy's forum by creating new articles. However, a forum article created by one teacher is visible to all students, but only after it has been approved and published by the admin. All forum articles must be reviewed by the admin before they are made public.
After your registration request has been approved by the admin, you can set up your full teacher profile. This includes adding a profile picture, a video introduction, and a detailed biography that highlights your teaching style and expertise. You will also set your lesson prices, manage your availability calendar, and add your skills and subjects. A complete and professional profile will help attract students.
While not all certifications are required, having a well-known certification can help you stand out. Here are some certifications to consider:
• TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages): This certification is often used in English-speaking countries like the US or Australia, and it covers a variety of teaching contexts.
• TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language): This certification is a professional qualification that shows you are trained to teach English to non-native speakers. It’s one of the most common requirements for teaching English abroad or online.
• CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Adults): This is a comprehensive, intensive, and highly prestigious course designed by Cambridge English. It is often required for teaching positions in Europe and the Middle East.
• DELTA (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages): This is an advanced-level diploma from Cambridge English for experienced teachers looking to further their careers.
• Cambridge TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test): This is a flexible, modular qualification that tests knowledge in specific areas like teaching young learners or lesson planning.
To apply to become a teacher, you will need to go through our registration process. You will be asked to fill out your personal information, a detailed biography, and provide information about your experience, skills, and subjects you can teach. Once you submit your application, it will be sent to the admin for review. Your profile will not go live until it has been approved.
